Our project focuses on the local, as well as global influence of plastic waste and the ways to stop our negative actions towards the environment and our own health. We are active on this website, our instagram account (waste_management_team), and our gmail (g1.w.m.experiment@gmail.com).

We are happy to share a few ideas of leading a “Responsible Waste Management Lifestyle” with you to try at home!

Why? Because THERE IS NO PLANET B!

Marta Lesiewska – as a sustainability consultant, I work with many companies and professionals.We try to minimise the negative impact and enhance the positive one to ensure that future generations will be able to live a good life on Earth. Supporting the CSW students in their projects was an additional motivation - their curiosity, knowledge, and dedication were inspiring. They are the world's future leaders, and it's their right to advocate for a more sustainable future and our duty to answer this call.

Bartłomiej Wrona – our AMAZING MENTOR and biology teacher.

Geographer specializing in hydrology and meteorology with special interest in water management in urban areas. He believes that the teacher during their class should be the one that says the least.

It is up to the students to find out what is going on around them and simply be curious about world around them.
To ask questions, to try something on their own – finally the whole world is new for them and thus the teacher should be the guide, helping to find the right way to understand environment.

To define the scope of our project we have developed the following lines of inquiry as the clarification of our central idea: "Responsible waste management improves quality of life and prolongs sustainable resources" :

1) Impact of plastic on a quality of life;

2) Role of waste management on people's health;

3) Personal choices that help sustain the environment.

We are Grade 6 students from The Canadian School Of Warsaw. Our Group is specifically involved in the topic of Waste Management. Our mission is to help the environment by making small, but at the same time influential actions leading to a better, more eco-friendly world. With the help of our mentor, Mr. Bartek, and many specialists that are very passionate about this topic, we gather information and build a group of influential individuals leading to a sustainable future.
