GREENWASHING

ZERO WASTE RULES

Examples:

TIPS

Greenwashing is false information about if the item is recycled or not. Most likely, each of us drank water from a bottle that says 100% recycled. Unfortunately, about 5% of this is true. In this way, companies encourage customers to buy the item because it is "eco" so they do not pollute the environment. Unfortunately, this applies not only to plastic bottles, but also to everything we buy. A good example of this is the tag "I am 100% eco" and only the tag is 100% eco and the item is not.

RESPONSIBLITY

Responsible waste management improves quality of life and prolongs sustainable resources.

Talking about the rules of zero waste you can find some alternatives - sometimes 4 rules (4R's) are being promoted, sometimes 5 (5R's) or even more. For better understanding we are presenting the most popular 5 rules - Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Refuse and Repair. Implemented in our day-to-day life it helps us to limit the usage of the resources and neutralize the remaining waste.
